Who are w-inds.?

The three members who form w-inds. are Keita Tachibana (lead singer and dancer), Ryuichi Ogata (dancer, rapper, and background vocalist), and Ryohei Chiba (dancer, rapper, and background vocalist). w-inds. debuted in the spring of 2001 and immediately experienced skyrocketing sales that brought them to the top of the music ranking charts in Japan release after release. w-inds. won the Most Talented New Artist Award at the 2001 Japan Record Awards, the most prestigious record awards in Japan. w-inds.' first album ranked #1 in sales when it was first released, and sold over a million copies.

Throughout the years, w-inds. talents and popularity spread throughout the countries of Asia, South America, and North America. In fact, w-inds. are currently the most popular Japanesemusic artist in the country of Taiwan.
